"To Shed A Light" is the story of the death of Peter, a funeral director who has
spent his life helping others cope with the trauma of death.
Tormented by the effect his death has on his loved ones and frustrated by his
inability to help them, Peter tries in vain to influence his own funeral
arrangements. His friend Bob also tries to help out, but is unaware of the
complexity of the task, with disastrous consequences.
This book aims to "shed a light" on the difficult topic of funeral arrangements.
It illustrates the importance of formulating our own ideas on the subject and
incorporating those of the people we care about, without feeling that in doing
so, we are tempting fate.
